I've been exactly where you are.
For years, my life looked right. Sixteen years in the same corporate organisation, working my way up from customer service to running an entire Supplier Management function. A 19-year relationship. The house. The life everyone pointed to and called successful. I was performing every bit of it.
So I left. Six months later I was made redundant. No income, no home of my own, newly separated. I rebuilt from scratch and thought that was the fix.
It wasn't. A few years later I was in Australia, in a good relationship, with a fresh start, and the same pattern turned up. Different country, same "I'm fine." When I lost my dad, I saw how misaligned everything had become. I'd changed my life, but I hadn't changed the identity running it. So I left again, and rebuilt again.
The patterns still show up. I catch them now. That's what I teach.
I'm a Personal Leadership and Identity Coach with 8+ years of coaching and a background in business, strategy, marketing and leadership development. I didn't learn this from a book. I learned it twice. And I know the most important person you will ever lead is yourself.
